THE ROSEVILLE ROD & CUSTOM STORY
BEN YORK JR., THE OWNER OF ROSEVILLE ROD & CUSTOM, FORMALLY OPENED THE BUSINESS IN 1991. BUT HIS PASSION FOR CRAFTSMANSHIP GOES BACK MUCH FURTHER. HE WAS BORN INTO A FAMILY THAT LOVED CARS, AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN AROUND HOT RODS AND CUSTOMS. HIS FIRST REALLY INSPIRED PROJECTS WERE BICYCLES, BEAUTIFUL CREATIONS THAT WERE CONSTANTLY CHANGING - ALWAYS A WORK IN PROGRESS. BY HIGH SCHOOL, HE WAS MAKING CAR PARTS FOR FRIENDS AND MODIFYING THEIR RIDES OUT OF HIS FATHER'S GARAGE.
SHORTLY AFTER GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL, HE CAME HOME AND ANNOUNCED - “I JUST SIGNED A LEASE FOR A COMMERCIAL BUILDING ”! HE WAS 19 YEARS OLD!! THAT LEVEL OF ENTHUSIASM AND ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE IN THE OUTCOME IS STILL WITH HIM TODAY. ALTHOUGH THE BUSINESS STAYED OPEN NORMAL HOURS, BEN WORKED 12 HOURS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEKTO MAKE IT A SUCCESS. THUS BEGAN A LABOR OF LOVE THAT HAS CONSUMED NEARLY ALL HIS WAKING HOURS - AND CONTINUES TODAY.
THE GROWTH OF ROSEVILLE ROD & CUSTOM OVER THE LAST FOURTEEN YEARS IS BASED ON BEN'S TOTAL COMMITMENT TO QUALITY WORK AND COMPLETE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. TO ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS, HE HAS SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY SELECTED HIS STAFF BASED ON THEIR EXPERIENCE AND DEMONSTRATED FABRICATION SKILLS. BUT MOST OF ALL, TO WORK THERE A PERSON MUST LOVE THE PROCESS OF CREATING UNIQUE VEHICLES.

THEY OFFER COMPLETE DESIGN, FABRICATION, FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY OF ALL TYPES OF DISTINCTIVE AUTOMOBILES. A VISIT TO RRC REVEALS A HUGE ASSEMBLAGE OF TOOLING AND EQUIPMENT THAT ALLOWS PRODUCTION OF A VAST ARRAY OF PARTS AND PANELS NOT AVAILABLE ELSEWHERE. THEY ARE CAPABLE OF COMPUTER DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF ANYTHING NECESSARY TO CREATE DISTINCTIVE, AND FUN, AUTOMOTIVE ART. TODAY, BEN AND HIS STAFF ARE ALSO INVOLVED WITH WYOTECH TRADE SCHOOL, HELPING TO PROVIDE FUTURE GENERATIONS OF DEDICATED HOT ROD AND CUSTOM CAR BUILDERS.
