Blanchard-Basik-York Lakester

This 259” wheelbase Blown Gas Lakester (B/BGL) is run at El Mirage dry lake and the Bonneville Salt Flats.  It is powered by a 429 cubic inch aluminum block Arias/Chevy hemi engine, equipped with a PSI Screwcharger blower and mechanical fuel injection.

The chromoly tube chassis was built by Rich Manchen. It has an ice
chilled intercooler and 3 separate fire suppression systems.  Rear end is a Halibrand Championship quick change.
Braking is accomplished by primary and secondary parachutes and
12” Wilwood six piston disc brakes on the rear wheels only.
