It gives us great pleasure announce that ROSEVILLE ROD & CUSTOM, their owners and staff have been selected to be the Sacramento Autorama's first "Builder of the Year!" This annual honor will be presented to a builder/shop that has demonstrated over the years their ability to create quality vehicles that they display in the Annual Sacramento Autorama.
The Sacramento Autorama was started by a Sacramento auto club and over the past 55 years has continued to establish traditions that are of the highest honor and standards within the show car world. These traditions like the World's Most Beautiful Custom Award, honoring "Baggie" Bagdasarian and other awards honoring Sam Barris, Dick Bertolucci, Joe Bailon, Manuel Arteche, Gary Peter and LeLand Norene are known throughout the world of "Personally Specializing Automobiles." Another tradition that the Sacramento Autorama has started and is recognized across the show car world for is the participation of dozens of Northern California car clubs in an area nicknamed the "Clubhouse!" All these above mentioned awards and features plus the best variety of quality Customs, Hot Rods, Classics, Muscle/Sports and Competition cars are what has made this 56 year old indoor car show a true "Autorama!"
As the 2006 "Builder of the Year" you will receive a 20 x 30 space in the Autorama to display your cars and information that allow the attendees of the event to learn more about your staff, abilities and creations. We will also publicize information and/or the history of your shop in the event program and you will be honored at the Sunday night awards ceremony. You may use any information dealing with this honor in any of your shop media information from the date this letter is received and throughout the 2006 calendar year.
